Oracle Applications DBA with extensive experience in Oracle Applications 11i administration.
3-6 years of IT experience and at least 1+ years of Oracle Applications administration.
Certified 9i/10g Oracle database administrator with extensive experience in Oracle Applications upgrade from 11.5.10 to R12.
Strong in Performance Tuning.
Expertise in migration and integration of Oracle Applications and Databases.
Experience with Oracle 9i/10g RAC
Should be well versed in Unix/Linux tools and shell scripts.
Job function
Responsible for day to day monitoring and operations of Production Systems
Implementing and upgrading systems using latest Oracle technologies
Define and Execute Test and Production Deployment Process
Work closely with the Development Team and Release Management to support internal releases
Utilize change management to ensure release quality with minimum downtime
Design and document process and procedures in conjunction with continuous improvement planning
Work on problems and identify root cause and implement solutions
Develop and update automated methods to maintain production and test environments
Coordinate activities with IT Operations, Solutions Team, Development, Support, Customer Care, Engineering and Development for ongoing improvement, monitoring, testing, and servicing of production and test systems
