has embarked on an acquisition spree.
The company plans to buyout five small-sized firms,
three based in the US and two in India, the deals for
which are nearing conclusion.
Talking to Deccan Herald, Nous Infosystems President
Ajith J Pillai, said, “we are looking at a spend
of about $ 5-10 million over the next two years to fund
our inorganic growth plans”.
The company plans to double headcount, from the current
700, by the end of the year. IT services and testing
and validation divisions would be our the growth drivers.
Nous has 100 clients mostly in the US. Its turnover
in previous year stood at $13 million, with a year-on-year
growth of about 80 per cent. Established in 1996, Nous’
earliest product was Nous Electronic Stock Trading (NEST),
designed for NSE brokers. The company went on to develop
its flagship product ‘Medinous’, fully integrated
hospital management software.
