Strong mainframe skills; Cobol, CICS, DB2, VSAM files and Utilities, JCL and Utilities, FTP
Experience with SWIFT messages, Mercator and MQ Queues
Ability to work independently.

Knowledge and experienced in methodologies of Project Life Cycle
Knowledge and experienced in all phases of research, design, development, and testing.

Job function
Responsible for all stages of development including requirements development, design, coding, testing, documentation, and installation of new and existing applications and products.
Work with the user community, team members, and other internal development teams to better understand business requirements, and for integration of applications and system testing.
Provide estimates and technical recommendations for distributed performance enhancements.
Prepare documentation as needed, including but not limited to Technical Specifications, Status Reports, and Design Documentation.
Develop System test plans, test data specifications and test scripts and know how to arrange, coordinate and perform testing
Support User Acceptance Testing and implementation
