Solution

  • Assessment and gap analysis: Reviewed platform architecture, identified inefficiencies in OTC recommendations, and mapped Generative AI integration opportunities for improving patient guidance and service scalability. 
  •  AI health assistant development: Engineered an assistant capable of understanding symptoms, recommending safe OTC products, and engaging in contextual follow-up conversations. 
  • Data processing and search layer: Gathered public healthcare datasets and internal documentation, processed them with Unstructured.io, and generated vector embeddings in Amazon OpenSearch. 
  • Architecture and deployment: Deployed APIs using AWS Fargate, API Gateaway and Lambda, created an Angular-based UI hosted on Amazon S3 with CloudFront and WAF for secure delivery 
  • AI model and governance: Leveraged Amazon Bedrock with Mistral as the LLM, for conversational intelligence, applied conversational memory with interaction logs in Amazon DynamoDB, and ensured compliance, fairness, and safety via the Nous truNorth AI Governance framework. 
  • Security and performance: Applied the AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure scalability, resilience, fairness and safety through the Nous truNorth AI Governance framework.
